Jozé ten Have VOF is a partnership of artists who have been designing and producing exclusive lighting under the name of KUNST & LICHT since 1993. Kunst & Licht has designed and produced a great many projects in this time, which has given us a great deal of experience and insight into the realization of a wide variety of ideas and designs.

The technical expertise and experience we have acquired allows Kunst & Licht to design and produce an increasing number of models using different materials. Materials we work with include iron, stainless steel, aluminium, brass, glass and plastic. Much of the work and tooling, such as welding, grinding, polishing and rolling, is accomplished in our own studio.

Kunst & Licht uses a wide range of techniques for processing glass. Kunst & Licht contracts third parties to blow our own glass models in small numbers; we also work with glass plate, tubes, bars, spheres, ground beads and crystal. Recently we acquired a kiln, enabling us to fuse glass in our own studio. Other glass artist can use our facilities to. Since 13 november 2010 we have started with workshops glass-fusing

We use different kinds of techniques for lighting. Whenever possible, we work with low-energy solutions, such as low-energy light bulbs and LEDs.

Kunst & Licht has its own permanent collection, but works mainly on designing customized, commissioned projects. The locations can vary from atriums, entrances or stairwells in private residences to office buildings, theatres, saunas and ships… Preliminary designs are made without obligation.
The process from design to final product is performed entirely in house, allowing us to cater to the specific wishes of the client and carry out the most unique designs.
For a short time now it has also been possible to come to us for repairs and conversion to LED or halogen.
